Justin Dorey blasted out of the SuperPipe last Sunday and finished 2nd in the Superpipe High Air Contest. Justin crested out at a height of 23′ 11″.

The 2nd stop of the Winter Dew Tour landed in Snowbasin, UT. Tom Wallisch took 1st in the men’s Slopestyle Final. Roz Groenewoud finished 2nd in the Women’s Superpipe. Jess Cumming finished 6th in the Women’s Superpipe. Justin Dorey was untouchable in the Preliminary Rounds but couldn’t find the podium in the finals.
The Association of Freeskiing Professionals (AFP) recently announced its final rankings for the 2008-09 season. Justin Dorey finished the year ranked 2nd in the Halfpipe. Tom Wallisch finished the year ranked 1st in Slopestyle. PK Hunder finished the year ranked 1st in Big Air. Roz Groenewoud finished the year ranked 3rd in the Halfpipe.
Roz Groenewoud has been named the 2008-09 Women’s Overall World Champion by the Association of Freeskiing Professionals. Roz finished the year ranked 2nd in Big Air, 3rd in Halfpipe, and 19th in Slopestyle.
The Kombi Team is looking forward to a winter loaded with possibility. New team member Corey Vanular has a part in Refresh, the new film from Level 1 Productions. Megan Gunning is the newest member of the North American Factory Team. Megan is currently training with the Alberta Park and Pipe Team based out of Canada Olympic Park in Calgary, Alberta. With numerous podium finishes last season, Megan is ready to keep the Kombi Team on the podiums this year.
