If you have seen the previous "Public Holiday" chapters, you might be wondering why you haven't heard from us since episode four, back in November, and why all of a sudden episode eight is here. Although we did gather quite a bit of footage throughout the winter, I (Anders, filmer/editor) never had time to spare for editing due to school, work and a couple of other things. Then, in the beginning of April, things started to loosen up a bit, and I got to work. Episode 5 was as good as ready, and we had more than enough shots for a number 6 and 7 as well. Then, disaster struck. Whilst hanging out in a park in Oslo, my laptop and harddrive, that which held all of the shots from this season and was never supposed to leave my desk (but did for the very first time ever this day), was stolen. Stupid and naive as I was, I did not have backup. As bitter as it is, let's not dwell on things of the past! Although this series now obviously didn't turn out as planned, we hope you enjoy this final episode! "Public Holiday" is no more, but you'll be hearing from us in the very near future. Stay tuned. SHOT AND EDITED BY: Anders Stai Fougner ADDITIONAL FOOTAGE: The riders (especially Kristian Leraand and Niklas Engebretsen) FEATURING: Mikkel Jøraandstad, Mats Grøtterud, Magnus Solheim, Johan Berg, Niklas Engebretsen, Felix Usteurd, Lars Bjørum, Øystein Båten, Rasmus Engebretsen, Sjur Sætren, Edvard Dalsegg Strand. Faced with my blank wall in the hospital, sore leg, my thoughts go to Flo B, operated on the same day at another clinic nearby, also with the martyr and victim of patronizing nurses. This edit is a dedication to his shoulder, that of Matt Dee, my leg, that does not fight the measure of happiness of the fine weather, the sensuality and excitement of GPSy Day, the explosion of joy nude s' splashing cold beer in a frenzy of laughter! And no, we will be sitting like idiots on the bench injured, and others, visit the 27 to Val D 'Isere for a party of the devil ...

This week's episode of Almost Live joins Dylan Hood, Dash Longe and Erik Roner in Montenergo as they wait out hazardous avalanche conditions and go big once it pops blue. As Roner describes, "They had a couple resorts that were really kinda low key, funky style with old squakey chairlifts going up radical terrain."

When both Jackson Hole and Grand Targhee closed for the season, one must inevitably migrate South in search of lift service and this past weekend presented the perfect opportunity to do so. Snowbird picked up two feet of snow last Tuesday en route to breaking their all time season snowfall record of 688?. That snow was followed by another 18? Friday night and by Saturday morning I found myself at the base of Little Cottonwood Canyon waiting for avalanche clearance after a 5 hour drive from Jackson that began at 3 AM. And well, from there it was literally all time. Just watch the video and you?ll see. Skiing & Editing: Than Volk Music: Walking On A Dream ? Empire Of The Sun http://PointOfRelease.com

Watch as they add a little jib to Pembi's big mountain lines. As Todd Jones describes, "It's always cool to see different people's perspectives on the mountain. So when Dylan and Sammy went up to BC?We knew we'd see a bunch of different stuff and a different take on it"
