This is the third part of our look back on the last 30 years of Freeride Sports. This episode shows us the beginning of the freeride movement in Chamonix, way back in the 70's when skiers were first heading up the Aiguille du Midi to ski the awesome glaciers at the top, and the original freeriders were charging on the Grand Montets. Oakley and Moreboards Teamrider Luggi Brucic met up with a bunch of motivated freeskiers to show them some of his moves and have a relaxed session! The Blue Tomato Kingspark is one of the first true Slopestyles in austria with a full length of 1.8 kilometers, 4 sections and tons of obstacles. The young up and comer Jakob Kratzer just became 1st in the rookie comp at the Mayrhofen Freeski Open. Maybe it helped that he was in Muehlbach the days before to train some endless lines.
