Red Bull Cold Rush 2010: Day 1 Heli Highlights

This is the clip. The clip of ALL clips. Action from Day 1 at Cold Rush was unreal. Held on Texas Peak at nearly 10,000 feet, the entire field of 11 Men and 3 Women really stepped up. Highlights include Charley Ager's (in the all red/orange suit) huge 360 off a spine and drop into a small avalanche, and Sean Pettit's full run (last portion of the video) which includes a mind-numbing 60-70ft 360. Check it out:

Yesterday I finished off the first quarter of this mission. It felt amazing, 500 000 done by March 24. Awesome.  And what was my next thought? "great now I can focus on a million!!!" Its been amazing, excruciating, challenging. Its a challenge that is requiring all I have. Focus, commitment, complete dedication. I cannot imagine what will happen in the next three quarters but the first has been everything I could have wished for. 23 summits, endless skiing and the hardest thing I have ever done. Looking forward to the rest.

We are in Bethel, ME and the Dumont Cup is officially underway. This weekend is going to be good. Cool engine, wow! Neat-o weather! Is this bad? Another Bloody, buddy? You can see my house from here. This island looks like a humpback whale. Wellesley is the greatest. Lots of snow at Sunday River. But it doesn’t matter, because this is going to be the [...]
