Beater much? Well, if you happen to have a photo of yourself or someone you know just getting worked, post it up to Daron's website and you could be the proud new owner of a Giro helmet (Red Bull paint-job, unfortunately, not included). Check out the contest, and check out Daron's video message to you.
"I've always wanted to get all my friends together and film in all the best spots around the world," Red Bull skier Grete Eliassen says about her new project. Say My Name is a two-year venture Grete embarked on last season with longtime ski/snowboard photographer Stan Evans. The two and crew spent most of last winter in the Utah backcountry honing Grete's skills on her sled and on the steps. All the time has already paid off huge, check out Grete's huge huck photos and story in the current November issue of Powder Magazine. With a good season of filming already in the bag, Grete hopes to branch out this season and bring other athletes into the project like Sarah Burke, Marie-France Roy, and Seth Morrison. Keep an eye out here for updates on her progress, and check out the teaser below:SAY MY NAME TEASER from Stan Evans on Vimeo.

I’ve got a mountain of work to do today, that means I’ll be cranking some productive tunes. Today’s choice: Deadmau5’s latest album “For Lack Of A Better Name.” Real solid shit here. Give it a listen below.
Here’s one of the latest sites I’ve made here at Freeskier Magazine for a client of ours. This is the 2009/2010 Dakine Glove Contest microsite. Every week, we stoke out one lucky winner with a pair of Dakine gloves. Entering the contest is a sinch and the UX is clean and [...]
Spent a day in Vail with Lesley (tag) and the Burton crew, here’s how it went down. Special thanks to the girls for being so easy to work with and for just generally being awesome. And of course to Colby for the vocals.

Why exactly was I in Chamonix, France? Well, here’s a little video I shot with Mike Douglas that explains what exactly goes on at the Salomon International Marketing Meeting.

MMP has been having some major technical issues as of late, many that I could not fix quickly. As a result, the site was down for an extended period of time. Thankfully, I’ve tackled the majority of the issues and we’re back in business. Updates coming soon, promise. -dave

The guidelines for our latest Photography 2 project were as follows: - Construct Images (i.e. Create Something That Wasn’t There Before) - The Images Should Speak To The Theme Of, “Who Am I?” I appropriated a toilet from a local junk yard, and the rest is history. Here are some of my favorites from the series. It’s so taboo, no [...]

This year I got lucky. I was at the Halloween store on Halloween day looking for a costume and found the most epic wig ever. I’m assuming every one of you has seen the Kill Bill movie series and remember the evil master, Pai Mae. I was considering a few other mediocre costumes then I [...]
