Popeye’s recently sold completely out of chicken due to the popularity of a recent $4.99 special. Stereotypical Popeye’s clientele is outraged. “They should’a had a tractor trailer out back with extra chicken on ice, you know?!” - Elayne Winthrop, Disgruntled Chicken Enthusiast
Simon Dumont likes to drive fast. It's a fact that plagued me throughout the first half of a trip I spent with him a couple years ago in New Zealand.
Sitting here with Shaywill watching playoff hockey on TV. Dropped off my photos from Whistler to be developed today. Hoping to have them up tomorrow night to accompany a recap of our trip.

After a full day of practice and qualifiers, Red Bull skier Simon Dumont put his driving skills to the test as one of three celebrity drivers that were invited to participate in the first round of the Jetta TDI Cup series. "It was a total honor to get invited and has completely motivated me to get more involved in racing! Now i just need to get a car," he exclaimed. Dumont improved six positions during the race to finish in 19th place. Dumont, thoroughly enjoyed his experience in the series and hinted about a possible return in the future."The entire experience was way more than I ever imagined that it would be. The first time for me to get in a professional-level racecar was yesterday, and I'm definitely hooked," said Dumont. "My goal heading into this was to try to be competitive and not finish last, and I accomplished both goals. I'm going to do some work with my personal sponsors when I get home to see if I might be able to give the series a try full time next year."
Apparently, Tuckerman Ravine slid this past Saturday and some asshat was lucky enough to be caught up in the avalanche and survive. More amazing, someone has it all on video.
