This May I came home to Oregon to meet up with Maurizio Von Flotow and friend from Hood River and with the help of some of our good friends and Hood River loc dogs, we came up with some very cool videos. We put them out during West Coast Sessions and since we weren't officiall "invited" we decided to call ourselves the "UnInvited" for fun. The videos ended up all being video of the day on NS, with the first being video of the week! Wahoo. The third video titles "UnInvited II" should actually be III as it is on NS. Here are the NSlinks: www.newschoolers.com/nstv/17.0/Video-Of-Week Read More | Post / Read Commentsread more
Its been a long and frustrating winter for me with injury problems, friends lost in the mountains and a major lack of time up in the hills. Until now....... The end of spring is a late start to a winter season, but man does it feel good after all that waiting, rehab and false starts. Dave Treadway and I headed out from Pemberton on our sleds in search of good snow and places we hadnt seen, we found one but not the other! The warmth was too much and the melt freeze had set in, even protected north aspects wernt good. But travel was and so was the sunshine. Here's a few pics, video to come. Great first and last sled misson of the year. Next stop Yukon Teritories to Alaskan Pan Handle via rivers and mountains on rafts and skis, this one is gonna get interesting...... Post / Read Comments

A few weeks ago, I spent some time in the field with a friend and videographer making this film for his employer, H20 Overdrive. The idea was to spread some mountain love during a winter encompassing so much mountain animosity; to show backcountry skiers that it is possible to have a great time in the hills, even during a winter such as this. Hopefully, we succeeded in getting that point across. Post / Read Comments
