Sunday turned out to be an epic day at the 1st Annual King of Bales Rails.They were calling for warm weather and rain, however we got some blue sky, snow, warm weather a great turn out. The event brought in known locals from Ontario's park scene and some others from all over the city.
That’s right everyone! After two years in the making it has become a reality! The City of Toronto, Earl Bales and Evolve Snow Camps will be hosting a Ski and Snowboard rail jam. Evolve Chile is stoked to be working with Girls on Skis for this upcoming summer in Chile. The Girls on Skis crew from Quebec know where its at and can't wait to have them with us in South America. Evolve Chile's adult session this past summer with Armadas Pro's, Tanner Hall, JP Auclair and Ian Provo was a huge success. Although we did not get blessed with endless powder, we did however have an unforgettable week. Our adult session was the first of many more to come. Evolve Snow Camps will once again have its 8 week program at Mount St.Louis this coming winter.
All of us at Evolve Chile are super stoked on the rescue mission that started yesterday. As of now there are 11 rescued miners and still waiting for 22 more. Jorge Galleguillos, a 56 year old miner was the latest man to be rescued. This is truly a great story. Catch all the action on CNN. It is expected that all miners will be out by noon tomorrow.
Tanner Hall's first day at Evolve Chile was a huge success. Everyone was stoked to see him shredding through the resort and the park. A full edit from the adult session including JP and Ian's hike coming soon.
The adult session has been going super well so far. Although we haven't been blessed with pow the fun hasn't stopped. Tanner, Ian and JP are showing our guests a great time. Park, hiking, and gnarly lines for Ian and JP, check out the teaser from today's hike.
Just a few days ago before the end of Session Tres, we had the honor to have Pep Fujas at camp. The afternoon felt like a spring day but with nice snow. Campers lapped the park till sundown and had a chance to hang, shredd and be inspired by Pep Fujas.
All good things do come to an end, however we were blessed with the best conditions possible. After a long day of shredding bowls, ripping through trees and and booters we caught up with Nick and Ian Provo to give us a scoop on the day.
