It has been the coldest spring on record but that is behind the people of Oregon and Summer promises to bring the heat. I have been to many parts of the Deschutes River, but this location, near Benhem falls is one that I hadn’t ventured to yet. Besides being so lucky to be in Oregon for the summer on the snowfeilds of Mt. Hood, our home away from home also puts us in the backyard of Saga Supply Co skater John Morgan. These photos are from a few days ago when Dan, Goost and I ventured up to Park City for some good old fashioned poster bombing. I’ve been spending the past 4 summers here in the greater Mt. Hood area. There has always been the ever present need to climb to the top of the mountain I stare up at daily. Not for any reason in particular, but “because it’s there” – The famous quote about climbing Everest from George Mallory.
