Just got to Pemberton BC. T Rains, Freedle and i are on a mission to get after the ice capped peaks of the coast range… Tres Amigos… Breakfast… Lines… weather has been a huge battle up here. I am in Cordova at Points North Heli operations, shooting Seth Wescott. Our filmer is using a 16mm camera, and it is exciting because this is the first time I have skied in front of a film camera, I guess you could say I am a child of the digital age. I-70 to Breckenridge was closed, making for the perfect opportunity to go ride one of my favorite spots to shuttle laps. Berthoud pass wasn’t too snowy, as had it been super windy. Behind our hotel is a hiking trail that leads in to the hills behind the city of Taipei. At the very top of the hill there was a tea hut that the local elders hand built, a place where they meet every day to talk about the current issues and drink tea. I had a nice outdoor meal with some friends, the easiest way to describe the event is with 3 letters, BBQ. I will do that to make things simple.
