Whatup NS! How's everyone doing? Hopefully everyone's having a good summer so far. Mine's been pretty sweet! I went home for the month of June just to hang out with some friends and live the city life a little bit and it was awesome! All year round I pretty much lived out of my suitcase so it was such a nice feeling to sleep in my own bed, cuddle with my own cats and hang out with my girls at home.[IMG]http://media.nscdn.com/uploads/member/pictures/1237823932Salomon_190.jpg[/IMG]

Well its in the books folks, the first ever Dumont Open went off this past weekend at Sundat River in the Rocking Chair park located right at the bottom of Barker Mountain with huge crowds in attendance and sunny skies to thank! Just over 70 Pro's and Am's made it out to Sunday River to find the biggest slope style set-up in the east as well as tons of soft snow and $15,000.00 up for grabs at the first inaugural event. [IMG]http://media.nscdn.com/uploads/member/pictures/1239716615IMG_0816.JPG[/IMG] [IMG]http://media.nscdn.com/uploads/member/pictures/1239716798IMG_0845.JPG[/IMG] The comp was a three run format on Sunday with qualifiers during the morning and practice on saturday so everybody could gauge the the talent pool and test the sizable jumps that Dumont created first hand. The course consisted of a canon box at the top with a huge 70 foot step down that was followed by a 80 footer in front of the judges stand finished off by three rails which were a down rail a down -flat and a down -flat down.[IMG]http://media.nscdn.com/uploads/member/pictures/1239716870IMG_0927.JPG[/IMG]

Woodsy I saw you this year in Salomon Freesking's episode 8 and now at Momentum Ski Camps totally killing it, whats next for you? Hi guys its Woodsy here yes all the way from England and yes you heard it right we have a killer scene over here in England! Although we don't have snow or mountains in the U.K. we do have dry slopes, which is basically what you guys use for your water ramps. A kind of plastic carpet, the feels like concrete and knifes when you fall. And it's laid down on small hills around Britain. Given this obvious drawback, we have a really great free-skiing scene back on the tradition of afternoon tea, and Cricket.
