Got home a few hours ago, dead beat from the weekend of skiing. Håtveits jump was pretty funny, and you got a lot of hangtime too! I finally got to hit it switch after yesterdays bad skiing. This is the backyard at the moment. Upcoming week he is hosting a bigair and railcontest for the best athletes in scandinavia, and he is remaking the whole park. Rise-and-shine this morning. Early up and out to shred Vassfjellet BigAir contest. Hard conditions during the day, and many rounds to get to the final, but in the end I was just super duper happy! Attended a local railjam tonight. Fun rails, but snow was hammering down pretty hard, and visibility was bad. When I arrived Hommelvik yesterday, there was barely any signs of snow outside the road. But today when I woke up, there was something a little more enjoyable to watch outside. Just got home after a 5-hour drive from Lillehammer. Home just for the weekend, and for a railjam in Vassfjellet. Me and Eirik Børresen went to Lillehammer railpark after a failure in the Hafjell-park. 20 minutes with a park that was not even groomed. The railsession was worth every minute! We brought the HD camera, and shot every try we had. Back to Hafjell today. Brought out my brand new Rock it before 2012 Salomon skis. They have what i’s called a rocker construction. Which basically means the tips start way earlier than on regular skis. Really weird to ski on, especially on jumps, but they are fantastic on jibs and rails.
