Progression Meets Style at Suzuki Nine Royals Contest Day

Over the course of two jam sessions, judges determined the winners using a unique format: a combined score of two technical tricks and one style trick. After a week of photo and film sessions, it was Andri Ragettli (SUI, ski) and Coline Ballet-Baz (FRA, ski) who topped the podiums.

In The North Face’s ongoing search to uncover new and progressive outdoor talent, the company sought out alternatives to the traditional freestyle skiing and snowboarding competition structure. The All Mountain Open Series (AMOS) is a first of it’s kind digital platform where skiers and snowboarders submit a dream big mountain competition run, shot from anywhere in North America, Canada and Europe.

PPOS Slopestyle and Specialty Prize Winners Announced

In the second of three judging rounds for The North Face Peak2Park Virtual Competition, judges met at Brighton Resort to score slopestyle edits submitted to the Park and Pipe Open Series (PPOS). Specialty prize winners have also been chosen, including Best Trick, Best 100% GoPro Edit, Team Scholarship Award, Viewer’s Choice and the coveted PPOS Grand Prize award announced today by The North Face athlete and freeski legend, Tom Wallisch via live stream from his official Facebook athlete page.
