We all dream about going South for the summers. I jumped on a quick opportunity to go to New Zealand back in 2006 for the New Zealand Freeskiing Open. While the comp itself did not go quite as planned for me, it still wet my apatite to come back again for more.
This video was shot at last Saturday’s Rally 4 Riley event at the Freeskier Magazine offices, and provides a great look into Riley’s personal experience with his recovery.  Thanks to Mike Thomas for shooting, and Luke Van Valin for interviewing / auctioneering!  Stay tuned here, on RileyPoor.com for information about the eBay auction we’re going [...]

Cole essentially reinvented the follow focus. By instituting a “brake lever” system, the Snap Focus allows cinematographers to keep their camera steady and pull focus [...]
If you’ve ever watched a Japanese anime, or even American cartoons for that matter, you probably know that most of the characters have highly unrealistic body proportions — giant eyes and tiny noses are the norm. Ideal Species is a creepy set of images by photographer Chris Scarborough that imagines what these proportions would look [...]

Last week we hit up pink pine chute at 8:30 PM. Luckily Brady's headlamp is so bright (900 Lumens), because the snow was deep, the chutes were steep, and the trees would have hurt had we not been able t [...]

It snowed over 4 feet in some parts of the Wasatch Mountains this week. I unfortunately was stuck in school working on a few projects that are due next week. Oh well, soon enough we will have more snow. My buddy Mitch Potter and some of his friends had the chance to get up at Alta and enjoy the fresh snow. I can't believe how deep it was for October!
