Bulletproof Outerwear

Armada Outerwear is tough but is it bulletproof? I used the Cruiser Jacket for the 2009/2010 season and it stood up against skiing, sledding, gas, oil, wet conditions and cold conditions. But will it stand up to my 12 gauge shotgun? Let’s find out.

T-Wal Tricktip

A lot of people ask me to do tricktip videos, and it is kind of hard to choose what to teach you or not, since I am not an expert at EVERYTHING I do. Sometimes I have to just sit down and learn myself. I´ve been waiting for this guy to do a trick-tip video [...]

Making That Perfect Cup of Coffee

Over the last month or so I’ve been on a quest to create the perfect cup of coffee. I’m definitely not there yet, but I think I’m headed down the right path. As a Software Engineer, it’s absolutely critical that I have a good source of tasty coffee (and, good coding music) in order to [...]

I Hate Gapers!

Gapers are the worst! learn to ski on the freaking bunny trail not the terrain park. Parents are stupid to bring their kids to the park, the chances of little kids skiing in the park and getting wrecked by skiers or boarders who couldn't see them, are very high. Then on top of everything, it's apparently the park skier or snowboarders "fault" that these little kids get hurt because their parents love to let them ski on the back sides of jumps and in the landings of rails and jumps. Ban Gapers somehow!

This photo of Dane Tudor was shot in Haines Alaska on a trip in spring 2010. Dane skied the face above and then into this cliff to a perfect 360. Shot with a Canon 1dMKIV and a Canon 300mm f2.8 L IS.

Armada at Retallack

January 12th I packed the truck up and headed Retallack Catskiing; located just outside of New Denver, BC. It was a big couple days for me. After exploding my sled a while back I was in need of a replacement. On route to Retallack I stopped at Valley Moto Sport in Kelowna, BC and picked [...]
