Once again it's that time of the year. Skiers and snowboarders from all over New England make their way to the Zero Gravity summer camps in order to continue their off season training. Despite the humid weather as well as the lack of winterish conditions, an abundance of shralping went down.
Mt. Rainier is forecasted to receive 164 inches of snow from now until Monday.
What up Newschoolers! Its Sammy just Checking in, I took a break from the yesterday and Summitted Mt. Adams (elevation 12,500 ft) with my older Bro! We have both had our eyes set on this climb for quite some time now so we were both super stoked to make it to the Top! There are few days left before Christmas. Stop wasting your time asking your parents for a new i-phone, ipad or any other materialistic junk. What you should be asking your parents and family is an experience of a life time. Ride all winter and spring, take a little break and keep shredding pow, waves and park all summer long.

Big Boulder Park is holding it down! Most of our hills are getting ready to close for the season but not us, things are still rolling. This is my favorite time of the year at Big Boulder, the snow is softer and there aren't any noobs or gapers and we have our own awesome lodge to chill in. The jumps are the best in our area and all the jibs are quality. http://www.bigboulderpark.com/
The final stop of the Dew Tour concluded this weekend in Snowbasin, UT and this 3 stop series only confirmed what everyone has known since last year's X Games--the best slope and pipe skiers in the world wear the Smith I/O goggle and the Smith Maze Helmet. With consistent and dominating performances all season long, Smith park and pipe killers Bobby Brown and Kevin Rolland were awarded the overall trophies at an awards ceremony in Odgen, UT last night. The TELUS Park crew at Big White has been hard at work revitalizing the park, check it out!
The Terrain Park @ Silver Star Mountain opened it's gates on Friday Dec 21. Despite a slow start to winter the park crew was able to crank out for features for the holidays. Users were greeted with one blue bird day in the park because the following day it started snowing and hasn't stopped! If the weather keeps coming park users can expect the jump line and the halfpipe to be rollin by early January along with the rest of the SS rail fleet!
