January 25, 2009 – Sun Peaks, BC – Well the last two weeks have been epic in the park with nothing but sunshine and a perfectly manicured park.
My winter began in Whistler, training park and backcountry filming with Theory-3. I’ve a sick clip throwing a cork 3 off the biggest cliff I’ve hit so far, I’m pretty stoked with it.!!!
The snow has started to fly at Whistler Blackcomb with over 40 cm (16 inches) of snow falling just in the last few days and more expected in the forecast. With the countdown on to opening day, November 27, this is exciting news! And with the new PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola opening on Dec. 12, we can't wait for the season to officially kick off.

A knee injury cut the season short for Jossi. Fortunatley for us, he finally had a minute to sit down and a tell us what it’s like to have a younger brother on his tail, what he’s “a bit bummed on,” and how he plans to overcome the injury and wind up back on top.Â

The Arena SnowPark crew is still busy working away on our new rails. To date we have over 12 new rails fabricated and awaiting panels, puckboard and a coat of paint. Check out the progress so far... Welding some of the new ollie boxes.
As usual the Grand Junction CO kids were killin' it at the last tour stop, though I expected the Rockies to be a lot rockier, that John Denver is full of shit.
