Silver Star Opening/Park News

After a bit of a slow start, and a punch in the face by the Pineapple Express, Silver Star is back on track and has opened the Comet Six Pack, which means the park is not far behind. It is currently snowing at the resort and the the park crew is getting pumped up on shaping some snow in the next couple of weeks. Also look to attend the Drop In rail jam series happening in the village @ Silver Star on Dec 29. More info @ www.skisilverstar.com

Even though it's now December, things are still very "early season" in Tahoe, with no natural snow to be seen anywhere except the highest peaks. I can't wait to ski some powder, but in the meanwhile I've just been cruising the rails with some buddies. And this weekend we finally got some little jumps! Video included.
