In the hullaballoo of the hectic ski season, we never put together an update for our trip up to North Idaho.  After reading "Idafail" we thought N. Idaho needed a little positive press so, here it is - check out the pics and film edits covering the BOONE crew up in Idaho as well as the teammates Kolby Ward (Telluride, Co), Jamie Melton (Reno, NV), Scott Pollman (Reno, NV) and Garrett Jurach's (Kings Beach, CA) visit to the Stomp Games at Schweitzer Mountain Resort, in BOONE's hometown of Sandpoint, ID. After a two-week storm cycle that blanketed Mt. Hood with several feet of snow (a much-needed supplement for the upcoming summer season), the parks at Timberline have been dug out and are riding better than ever. Come check us out, and don't forget that a spring pass costs only $99 and keeps you riding until MAY 31!!!

CRJ Day - Feb 24, 2011

Last Thursday, all of us went up to Alta on a cold, stormy day to remember our friend, and skiing legend, CR Johnson. CR left us a year ago on Feb 24, and we wanted to honor his life and his legacy that he's left behind. We met up at Alta Ski Area in the morning to find a storm rolling in. After a few minutes of chatting, everyone headed up the lift. A few laps on the High T, and some back flips down on Westward ho, later, we all gathered at the base of the hill in Goldminer's Daughter to laugh, remember and watch a montage of all of CR's video clips. Some of his segments from MSP, PBP and The BIgger Picture could still close out a modern movie. Our event in Alta ran parallel with an event in Squaw Valley, CA put on by the High Fives Foundation. They had a day of skiing on KT-22, followed by a fundraising dinner for the CR Johnson Foundation. Here are a few photos from our day at Alta: Special thanks to everyone at Alta for helping us get this set up, and everyone who came out for CRJ Day at Alta, Squaw, or any other mountain.

The 4th installment of a Pacific Northwest staple event went off last week and a few Line MCs were there for the fun. The West Coast Session presented by Amplid and Windells this year was great with Joss Christensen, Garrett Russell, Carrie Rossman, Nick Miles and Tyler Barnes throwing down for the many forms of media makers in attendance.
