Just came home from 1 month discovering the wonders of Japan where we had the luck to film 3 different edits in 3 different resorts of the Northern Island : Hokkaido. It's been a dream coming true to be able to ski that light fresh powder Niseko had to offer, we tried to film / ski and edit something different that we use you to, it is also the first time I produce a "backcountry edit" so I hope you'll have fun watching :) Cheers to those who make this possible : Volkl, Dakine, Oakley and GoPro. Thanks to the filmers for their unforgettable help : Melissa Coursol and Clement Chemello. Thoughts and prayers to the mini-camera that made it through my first days skiing until our last turns in Niseko, may you find peace and love in Japan.
My trying to pack as many flips into one run. Might get a little repetitive.

USA! Despite the absolute shit conditions, Wise was still able to pull a banger run together and score big on his first run! Congrats David on a great performance and bringing one more in for USA!

"How do you decide who goes first over a 100ft jump? For half an hour the skiers try to feel the speed out by dropping in and pulling up short of the take-off. The key is a balance of experience and physics. Then Hanzo Scotto thinks he might have it figured out..." https://www.facebook.com/onehitwonderdu
Later on in the day after this edit I went back out to the tramp by myself and underrotated a dub back onto my head, and somehow twisted my knee tearing my MCL, mad gay. Last day of activity for the summer.

The West Coast Session is one of the most unique ski events held annually in May at Mt. Hood, Oregon. We met up with Liberty team riders Teal Harle and Max Moffat in Vancouver and made the trip down the coast. West Coast Sessions is the last event of the year where the best park riders from around the globe gather. Everyone gets together and sessions one of the best spring parks for a week. There are no judges, no officials, just a good group of friends that love skiing. This is our favourite event of the year and we are stoked to be a part of the very last West Coast Session. We hope you enjoy the video recap of our time in the Pacific Northwest. http://libertyskis.com/
