Last year was the best season of my life, I was still able to find three days to film while competing all winter long. It was also my first year back skiing since ACL surgery and I was very thrilled to be able to come back to skiing at the top of my abilities. Week 1 of Summer Camp kicked off with Saga Outerwear and Revision Skis. Pro's and campers alike spent all week learning new tricks, perfecting old ones, and having a great time.
The Facet Skis team took a trip down to the Liberty Mountain Snowflex Centre in Lynchburg, Virginia this summer. Despite a broken down main lift and multiple lightning delays, they were able to get some filming in. Athlete/artist/designer/musician Sämi Ortlieb has quietly been producing some of the most creative segments in skiing over the past few years, taking his über-well-rounded skill set from the streets to backcountry lines and pow and everything in between. On the tail end of the 2018 season he rounded up a motley crew of riders and shapers to create a park segment unlike anything that’s been done before.
