As the season winds down and the spring days get warmer, skiers from across North America migrate to Whistler, BC. Liberty athlete Max Moffatt flew into Vancouver in hopes of riding a couple weeks of spring park with Teal Harle. The early days of the trip was a constant struggle battling the wet coastal weather. Luckily, the boys scored a couple sunny days before the spring storms rolled in. Huge thanks to Whistler Blackcomb for having us. We hope you enjoy our video. http://libertyskis.com

We are happy to finally and officially welcome Clayton Vila and Sean Jordan to the Jiberish snow Fam. In addition to their smooth and effortless style, Sean and Clayton have both been friends as well as long time Jiberish supporters. All of this makes both of them perfect additions to the crew. Stept Productions once again came to bat bringing perfection behind the lens. Clayton took the footage and chopped it up for your enjoyment.

So it official, Sugarbush has one of the most amazing and most fun parks out there! Sorry for the lateness my firends...I was lucky enough to film at the Bush for a day with great palls Evan Williams and boot fitter extrodinair Ryan Ruino. (from John Syms' blog) My video guy (not that I have a video guy, but if I did, it would make me seem more official and much more powerful) asked me what he should call the edit of summer footage he was making to drop on eXpen eXtreme to tide us all over until the quickly approaching time at which we can all ski again. My thought process in suggesting a name for the video pretty much followed the last part of that sentence. Since this edit is to help people make it through the waning days of the off season, why not call it "77 Days Until Winter"? I can think of a couple reasons, now that the edit is done: 1) Naming a video "77 Days Until Winter" makes it relevant to exactly one day out of the entire year; and 2) That day has passed and today there are 74 days until winter. Do consider skipping the first ten seconds or so. Dropping!
I am taking a much more organized approach towards my "how to videos" this year. Starting this Friday, November 13th, I will be uploading a new "how to video" at noon. This will continue all the way through april. These videos will be uploaded to youtube, newschoolers, and my own website, skitutorials.com, I will have all my updates and schedule on my website. This video was created to help anyone ski switch. I noticed a lot of people doing it wrong over the past few years of skiing and I also used to do it wrong. Skiing switch is something that any freestyle skier should learn how to do. The way I teach you will help you gain control going down the hill, it will help you look better while skiing switch, it will help you have more control while skiing down the hill, and it will help you take off jumps and land jumps better. It is important to keep in mind that it will take a lot of time and practice to get to a comfortable level. The tips I give will help get you there faster but it will probably not be a overnight change. This is part 1 to a 3 part series I will be doing. Part 2 will be about how to hit a jump switch and do a switch 180 on skis and part 3 will consist of how to hit a jump switch and how to do a switch 360 on skis.
Today was opening day at Mt. Bachelor. Deep pow, cold temps, and great terrain made for an epic opening day. Enjoy!
