Liberty Skis // WCS 10

The West Coast Session is one of the most unique ski events held annually in May at Mt. Hood, Oregon. We met up with Liberty team riders Teal Harle and Max Moffat in Vancouver and made the trip down the coast. West Coast Sessions is the last event of the year where the best park riders from around the globe gather. Everyone gets together and sessions one of the best spring parks for a week. There are no judges, no officials, just a good group of friends that love skiing. This is our favourite event of the year and we are stoked to be a part of the very last West Coast Session. After surprisingly being invited for Superunknown XV in Winter Park Colorado, I didn't want to fly to the USA for just a week, so I talked with fellow finalists Simon Bartik and Jessy Desjardins and we organised what became the best road-trip of my life. I joined Simon, Jessy, Carlo Mion, Philippe Clairoux, Philippe Gaucher and Kevin Desjardins in Portland where we later drove to California and Colorado trough some epic scenery. Hope you will enjoy, ONE LOVE ! With heavy smoke rolling into Whistlers valleys on the third week of camp the picturesque backdrop whistler has to offer was completely shrouded by smoke from nearby forest fires. It made for some very unique lighting situations especially on the sunset shoot with the fading sun in an orange glow giving it that Japan smog type feel.
