Eric Pollard truly took his skiing in a different direction then his counter parts of the time. One of the first to spin and grind both ways, Eric rejected crossing his skis and trying to win contests. Here we see him grease the first legit rail line with variations and break the mold on the stock grabs. This segment gives us a glimpse into one of the best skiers of today. If you can get your hands on a copy of Royalty, I highly recommend it, it's a great film that stands the test of time and launched Iberg's career.
This was probably the craziest season of my life. Traveling from contest to contest all Winter I am surprised I was able to find any time to film. So happy with the outcome of the season! Charles Gagnier and Kaya Turski meet up with Marek Doniec in his homeland of Poland. Their arrival was timed perfectly with the worst streak of weather Poland saw all winter. Forced to the streets, they spent 10 days searching for urban features while being chased by the Polish police. One of our best shows of the year.
