JANKYfilms, TahoeMASSIVE and Mad Trees converged upon Revelstoke, BC mid January to ski the legendary terrain of this Canadian outpost. With at least 4 sleds totaled, skis broken, personal injuries, and excessive poutine consumption, it's a wonder that we were even able to get any footage! Had a late start to this season coming to Sun Peaks on January the 6th, never the less not disappointing at all blower conditions for basically two weeks straight snow over night, every night. Leaded to some bluebird powder days some spent with friends, some spent exploring the depths of Sun Peaks Backcountry alone, finding out all the different little zones there are and the easiest way back to the resort. All along the way of the last two months I accomplished quite a lot of deep pow skiing. The best tree skiing I have done, even got a couple waist deep turns in, to hitting the biggest drops I have ever hit then spinning them then tomahawking down 200 or so feet and hiking back up just to backflip it.
