Had a lot of fun skiing this year with a bunch of friends. A lot of funny times were had trying new things and what not.
Season spent cruising around Keystone and Breckenridge in between class days, with a week trip for nationals where CUFST travelled back to Lake Placid NY for USCSA nationals and took 1st! Also had the chance to hit this DFD in Boulder that a buddy had found on googlemaps, buena ondas! Tryin' to get a sick shot but my brother's aim is a little off.
I told my buddy ted i was dropping into this line....but when i came into the blind exit there is ted.....i got really lucky, i dry-docked and lost my right ski trying not to hit ted and the resulting tomahawk put me through the rocks at the top of a cliff. There is a reason to wear a backpack with a shovel in it.....back protection
We came up a bit short on the Pyramid Gap up Grizzly Gulch in Utah. Now gotta go back and make it bigger so we can clear it.
First time hitting jump 3 in Aspen switch. The Gs of the transition and slush combined messed me up.
