Derek and I linked up the other day and filmed at Keystone's A51 Terrain Park. He said it was one of the best days of skiing park he's had in a long time and I would have to say it was one of my best days of filming park all season because of how hard he threw down and the good times we had. And what a better day to have that happen on then his 21st Birthday. Needless to say we stacked a lot of clips for a days worth of filming and decided to put this edit together.
After years of the Slopestyle circuit grind Ian had a gnarly crash at the World Tour Finals in Whistler that altered his perspective on skiing. He decided to take a different path and ski the way he wanted to ski instead of the way the judges expected him to. As the ski industry changes, becoming increasingly commercialized, digitized and popularized we can all benefit from reflecting on why we started skiing: To Have Fun. Having a handful of our riders in the same place at the same time is a rarity for us. Whether they're chasing snow across the US hunting urban spots, filming with production companies or partying their asses off, these guys are busy. Featuring some of the regulars you've come to know along with a few new additions, we spent a few days in February tearing up A51 in our backyard of Summit County.

This tutorial right here is exactly what the Tramp Skis are for, learning the scariest tricks in a safe environment. A Screamin' Semen is arguably one of the scariest tricks in skiing because it's when your skis cross over one another so they are on the opposite side they should be, then untangling them to land normally.
