Looking for new terrain and some late season snow, a few of us at Shaggy's set out to backcountry ski deep in Ontario's Algoma region on the northeast shore of Lake Superior. The snowpack was melting, but holding well for the weather. Once we saw that snow was being dumped and it was mid May we told our bosses that we weren't coming in on saturday for the open house. Obviously they weren't to happy as we are the builders but the deep pow was calling to us and we couldn't pass it up.
