The West Coast Session is one of the most unique ski events held annually in May at Mt. Hood, Oregon. We met up with Liberty team riders Teal Harle and Max Moffat in Vancouver and made the trip down the coast. West Coast Sessions is the last event of the year where the best park riders from around the globe gather. Everyone gets together and sessions one of the best spring parks for a week. There are no judges, no officials, just a good group of friends that love skiing. This is our favourite event of the year and we are stoked to be a part of the very last West Coast Session. I started skiing with Dugger about six years ago and thats when I realized he was the real animal on skis. But, last year he got a full time job and packed his bags to Miami. Although Dugger wont be around anymore, he will be remembered by being able to muscle around some of the illest rail tricks. Snowflex session 1 is officially over and what a week it was. The last night of camp 3 doubles were landed by Aidan Dowdall, Kyle Pickering and myself Patrick Tolan. It was a blast riding snowflex and hanging out with some really cool people.
Thanks to SLVSH we had the opportunity to come ski in Andorra once again with the greatest crew possible, made great memories and skied park for the first time in a while. At the age of 2 my parents brought me to the slopes of Le Semnoz and learned me what would become later a reason to live. It was important for me to produce a piece in this resort where lots of kids from Annecy and its surroundings come enjoy skiing at its finest. We had best of times building stuffs we dreamed about once we were kids, driving home from the resort every day and sharing this passion with so many friends. Here's what happens when you take a group of kids and give them a week off school to film, edit and produce a 7 minute ski movie. We're over the moon to walk away with People's Choice and Best in Show at this year's Intersection with this video. We had a couple close calls and unfortunately one bad injury, but somehow managed pulled it through.
