Getting to ride in my hometown was a dream that I never thought could come true. Thanks to the High Five Festival we got to share our passion with the locals and it was incredible ! Here are a few laps put together to give you a glimpse of the feeling you get while riding the Sosh Big Air in Annecy, thanks everyone for making it such a great memory :) Thanks to these guys for making eveything possible : Volkl, Dakine, Oakley, GoPro and Feiyu Tech.

Suns out guns out. High Pressure at Alta has called for some B&B action ( Building Booters) in the back country. Powders nice but sunny days have gave us some great opportunity to get real sendy. Sunday March 13th while skiing down grizzly I saw a dude building a jump alone so I decided to see if he needed help. We Built we sent We Conquered. Stomped my first ever double back flip and it felt so damn good.

On the evening of July 21st my roommate Justin and I set out for Lassen Volcanic National Park. Hoping to find some good snow we camped out the first night and made our way over to the peak on the morning of the 22nd. Shortly after we began hiking up the peak trail we were swarmed by tens of thousands of California tortoise-shell butterflies. We spent the rest of the hike admiring the scenery and the mass amounts of butterflies. One of the park rangers told us that the butterflies had migrated to the area in order to pollinate some of the flowers growing on the volcano. The entire experience was surreal. We eventually scrambled over to the Northeast face of the peak and skied down through an endless cloud of butterflies. We finished the day with a few more miles of hiking before setting up camp again for the night just under the peak.

So this past season has been the best so far, as every season is. My first real season stepping out of the park has been a blast. This year I have been riding with far more experienced and faster charging friends which really made me go as hard as I could throughout the bad weather and snow conditions Sweden (Ã…re) has to offer. I like Misfitts and I like skiing, so I thought hey why not try to mix two of my favorite components in to one, take it or leave it ;) Peace!
