The crew takes a summer road trip around the Rocky Mountains in search of snow and rails. Along the way, Petey "Two-Holes" Koukov ends up in the Emergency Room... Lucky for Pete, teammate and proctology-hobbyist Erik Olson was able to lend a hand with his helpful assistants, Sämi Ortlieb, and Taylor Lundquist. The "Spelunk-King" returns with a world-record-setting feature, and the gang joins the sock-less dark lord at Woodward Copper for a week of summer camp and boot liking. Pete is expected to make a full recovery.

Hank skied like a virgin in quallies after getting off line so didn't make finals. He was pretty keen to still ski finals so he ducked the rope and snaked the finals venue naked. This is that.
Winter 2017 was definitely one for the books! Found a bunch of random shots on my phone and computer and decided to pull an edit together. Thanks to everyone who pointed an iPhone in my direction this winter! You know who you are! Cheers to new snow and a new season.

YLESKI 2015 is the culmination of Wiley Miller?s 2015 winter season. Shot almost exclusively in the Columbia Mountains of interior British Columbia. The winter of 2015 was adverse in many areas of North America. Finding good conditions remained challenging. Patience, and persistence was key in finding safe, suitable snowpack. This is the second installment to the YLESKI series, highlighting the best of Wiley Miller and his approach to snow. ?I set out this winter to spend my time exploring new mountains, scouting lines, and finding natural airs in the terrain to work with. This season ski touring, route finding, and line selection were set in priority above building jumps and locating step-downs. It was an alternative I decided to take when the snow started to fly in November of 2014. I set out to do more skiing and less building, setting up-tracks versus cutting blocks for jumps. The sport becomes so dynamic when you?re working with larger terrain. It?s challenging, I love the experience, and constant education that takes place out there in the mountains.? Is there such a thing as too deep? The record-breaking storm Stella of 2017 brought incredible amounts of snow to the forests of Jay Peak, VT. The Ski The East crew ventured out into chest deep snow during a truly memorable and exhausting day of blind turns, choking snow and sometimes simply being stuck. An aftermovie of sorts to sum up an epic winter in Utah at Alta, I tried to compile most of the footage from the year into one video. Being a east coaster spending a full ski season out west was a dream. Alta totaled around 530 inches before the season officially closed. Voiceover by Liam O'Reilly.
