Got a little rowdy on the sticks this past week after a bunch of new snow up at Bridger Bowl. Loved the Candide 4.0s and the way they ride, may have to splurge for the new skis with the better core.

I recently blew my knee so I decided to put together a small pow edit from Japan this past February to remember all the good times. Enjoy!
Bit of a short season this year... Got some early season pow and dummied myself in early jan. Made it back out in time for some spring park shred at whis. Anyways, great year in the books and threw together this quick vid!!
Couple days filming in Utah back in January and February. Thanks to all the homies for pointing the camera and bein around for the good times. Music: Charles Bradley - The World (Is Going Up In Flames)
Ski and MTB filmer Peter Wojnar's favourite shots from the past while. Deep pow, big spines, park shred, biking, surfing, and a bunch of other shit, in glorious 4k.
For some individuals, winter is the best time of the year. Winter came a little later than usual, but better late than never. It's been a challenging winter ...
2 laps deep in the Rattlesnake Wilderness Area on old Mosquito Peak. The 2nd chute was a new one for me and the choke point did not fill in that great this year obv. Always sketch guinea pigging a line that no one has skied all year. Big line season is upon us. Jazzed for more marathon days in ze mountains.
Took a little trip to the US for a sledtrip during chilean summer
Tobin Seagel took the time to take the right steps yesterday in the Pemberton backcountry. Don't get complacent and be safe out there! https://www.instagram.com/tobinseagel/ ---- "We went to get a quick pre-work shred in this morning but weren't counting on this! We usually dig out the cornice a bit on this line to make an entrance and to test the slope stability below. But it doesn't normally do this. It stepped down 4-5 meters and ran all 3000ft down to the flats below - then all the way across them, pulling all the snow off the face down to the bed surface rocks. I guess we need to manage for low probability, high consequence in some places on the Coast this year. Be careful out there friends!(Sounds off bc of an unexpectedly high number of four letter words) @blackdiamondequipment #liveskirepeat (focus on the living part)"
Just came home from 1 month discovering the wonders of Japan where we had the luck to film 3 different edits in 3 different resorts of the Northern Island : Hokkaido. It's been a dream coming true to be able to ski that light fresh powder Niseko had to offer, we tried to film / ski and edit something different that we use you to, it is also the first time I produce a "backcountry edit" so I hope you'll have fun watching :) Cheers to those who make this possible : Volkl, Dakine, Oakley and GoPro. Thanks to the filmers for their unforgettable help : Melissa Coursol and Clement Chemello. Thoughts and prayers to the mini-camera that made it through my first days skiing until our last turns in Niseko, may you find peace and love in Japan.
As shooting for our upcoming team film 'This Is Home' continues, the crew heads to Adam Delorme's home turf in Montana. I've spent the last two January's skiing and traveling in Japan. This is a place unlike any other. A place where old meets new, where tradition clashes with modernization and where beauty meets chaos. What's left is a culture so rich and diverse you have to see it to believe it. This is Japan. A huge shout out to Sierra Nevada College and all of the athletes that made this film possible. It was an amazing season last year and we hope you can enjoy it as much as we did through this film! Movie Description Mountains or School. Rather than pick one out of the the two, this collection of athletes decided that they needed both in their life. Monday through Friday you’ll find us running from class to the slopes. Last year we attended quite a few lessons, and now we’re here to show you what the results are of our final exam are. Come join us and sit down, you won’t need pen and paper for these lessons… Disclaimer: Sierra Nevada College is located on the shores of Lake Tahoe and represents what may be the only varsity freeskiing team in the country. The college is actively looking for new students and athletes to join the freeski team. If you have any interest shoot me a PM, I would love to talk in more detail. Part 1 of 4: Goldpan, Turnagain Pass, Alaska Every year team rider Josh Randich invites us up but every spring we get wadded up and can’t break free. This year we decided to pull the trigger early, at a time when arguably the Wasatch and Tetons are at a historical height, not to mention whats happening in Japan, to get a different perspective on AK. Josh has been teasing us with glistening maritime south facing features for years and its time we get up close and amplify the high times found in the Chugach mid season. Our shred crew consisted of Josh and Wiley Miller. Austin Ramaley, Carson Meyer and myself were there to capture the action. We arrived February 1st and we spent 4 of the next 6 consecutive days climbing south facing spine walls right off the road. Only in AK and for only 1 week, we were living the dream! Directed by Matt Sterbenz Principal cinematography by: Austin Ramaley Editing by: Jake Strassman Additional footage by: Joshua Randich, Wiley Miller, Matt Sterbenz, David Knutson (drone footage from Eddies Ridge only) Photography by: Carson Meyer, Charlie Renfro (Eddies Ridge and The Library only) Media partner: Freeskier Magazine Accommodations: Hotel Alyeska To see full post visit : https://4frnt.com/blogs/features/stories-from-the-frnt-turnagain-pass-ak-goldpan

Skiing at the resort is one of my favorite parts about winter. Hot lapping with your friends, finding lines, zipping through trees, catching air, and then do...

Although February started off a bit slower then we were anticipating, storms began brewing here in the Wasatch for the last half of the month. Alta ski resort report 55 inches in four days and boy was it awesome. Everyone in the Wasatch was getting there send on.
