Just came home from 1 month discovering the wonders of Japan where we had the luck to film 3 different edits in 3 different resorts of the Northern Island : Hokkaido. It's been a dream coming true to be able to ski that light fresh powder Niseko had to offer, we tried to film / ski and edit something different that we use you to, it is also the first time I produce a "backcountry edit" so I hope you'll have fun watching :) Cheers to those who make this possible : Volkl, Dakine, Oakley and GoPro. Thanks to the filmers for their unforgettable help : Melissa Coursol and Clement Chemello. Thoughts and prayers to the mini-camera that made it through my first days skiing until our last turns in Niseko, may you find peace and love in Japan.

Monday brought 15cm to the alpine with a beautiful blue sky in the morning and it turned out be an awesome day!
Started out being a beautiful day skiing with the boys. Then a small slide popped on me. Never let your guard down on mellow terrain. Slides dont have to be big and gnarly to put you on the couch.
Sawyer Thomas sends it for the boys and gets bodied in the Montana Backcountry. T'was a b-team kind of day!
Tahoe got dumped on... again. Thanks Moment Skis for letting me skip work to go ride pow at Squaw!

Tobin Seagel took the time to take the right steps yesterday in the Pemberton backcountry. Don't get complacent and be safe out there! https://www.instagram.com/tobinseagel/ ---- "We went to get a quick pre-work shred in this morning but weren't counting on this! We usually dig out the cornice a bit on this line to make an entrance and to test the slope stability below. But it doesn't normally do this. It stepped down 4-5 meters and ran all 3000ft down to the flats below - then all the way across them, pulling all the snow off the face down to the bed surface rocks. I guess we need to manage for low probability, high consequence in some places on the Coast this year. Be careful out there friends!(Sounds off bc of an unexpectedly high number of four letter words) @blackdiamondequipment #liveskirepeat (focus on the living part)"

Finally enough snow has fallen also in Switzerland for some proper powder turns! I and my friend (Simone Zanzi) took advantage of a free day and went skiing the best powder of this winter (so far..)! We went on the mountains while it was still dumping and ended up with some amazing lines in the fresh snow, luckily then even the weather cleared up a little. Entirely shot on my GoPro Hero 3 Black.
