The Common Thread: Ep 3 // B.C. -> MT In the midst of a tough semester at MSU, spring break showed promise of deep snow in the Great White North so we packed up and send it to Nelson B.C., when we arrived we were met with a week of rain, snow, friends and 18+ bars. Back in Montana it was a wild spring with everything from deep snow to warm spring days. We were able to get the camera out for a few days and capture some of the debauchery and this is the result. Plenty of snow followed by temperatures well below -20c for weeks on end made filming Part 1 of Stoke The Flame extremely difficult. Camera displays frozen solid, batteries draining after one shot and Adam even encountered a couple black toes. None the less we got the shots we were looking for and have a long winter ahead. After returning from the attempted FWT event in Hakuba, Japan (which unfortunately didn't run due to weather and snow conditions) Yann Rausis and me headed back to Revelstoke to hit some pow, pillows and big drops with short trannys, before cruising over to Kicking Horse for FWT stop two (plus the restaged Hakuba event) We managed to time our arrival perfectly with the first big storm in a while, and had a hell of a time! All the GoPro shots are from my head.
