„CHARACTERS ON SKIS“ ist der neuste Streifen von MIDIAFILM. Ein Film der sich nicht immer allzu ernst nimmt. Die Darstellung der einzelnen Charaktere auf Skiern - eine Kombination aus Big Mountain Lines, tiefen Powderturns und feiner BC-Freestyle Action. Die magere Schneesituation im Frühwinter verleitete die Akteure spontan sich auf eine unvergessliche Reise nach Japan zu begeben. Hier erwartete sie nicht nur die aufgehende Sonne sondern vor allem endloser Schneefall mit feinstem Pulverschnee. Ausgeschöpft bis an die Grenzen kehrten sie in die heimischen Berge zurück. Ganz nach dem Motto - wer suchet der findet - zeigten sich die Alpen dann doch von ihrer besten Seite. Besonders in Silvretta Montafon wurden die Charaktere für ihre Suche mit Alaska ähnlichen Spines und unverspurtem Gelände belohnt. Schlussendlich wurde die Saison mit einem Roadtrip durch Norwegen gekrönt. Die BMW x1s brachten alle zusammen schließlich an die einsamsten Ecken der Lofoten und Lyngenalps. Hier wurde die Nacht zum Tag gemacht, Mittssommernacht sei Dank. WHEN SKIING CHANGES YOU LIFE. After 19 years i got my dad back to skiing and this completely changed his life. After been of the skis for 19 years, my dad needed a bit of instruction and with my help he immediately picked up the new teknik that makes carving skis a blast to ski on. Now I have a hard time getting him of. He is 68 years old, and this shows that even it you are over 60, it is no problem skiing. So pick up those skis and get out there and have fun. /Pete

Nothing special but a little bit of GoPro from the other side of the World. Four days of skiing at Treble Cone (one clip actually from Craigieburn the week after). The snow just kept coming and ended with probably the best four NZ had to offer this season.

This past winter Colorado faced its worst snow year in 30 years. Fortunately we had a few decent snow storms giving John Spriggs and Taylor Seaton the opportunity to get into Colorado’s backcountry and take full advantage of the snow on a “Low Tide” year.
Tried to not only ski park this year and got into freeriding a bit. No matter what I was riding, I enjoyed every minute of it. Big thanks to all the people for the good times and for filming. Hope you like it!

It was cold and windy, so we booked it to the lodge.
An awesome line in Hatcher pass a few weeks ago. We actually were able to park near the top with our snowmobiles and only had to hike about 10-15 minutes to ski this. It’s amazing how close stuff like this can be with a good group and the right tools. Skier: Shaun Poirot Hatcher Pass Alaska
