tJC - Hidden Gems

This video comes to you after several life changing events that have happened in the last months. 1) I quit my job because I was far too content being broke. 2) New England has been slammed relentlessly with FEET of powder unlike any Winter prior. 3) Skiing has been amazing and has not stopped being amazing since late February. 4) I crashed my car on the way home from work one night in a fit of rage and could have easily gotten hurt but didn't. 5) Lost my second job on Christmas for driving up an exit ramp because there was a car across the entrance ramp during a blizzard... So I've been adjusting to new means to get ski tickets, like relying on my countless friends who have voucher tickets to get a free day on hill. 6) I had yet again another great season coaching skiing for the Highschool I went to and realized how happy I am doing the things I love. 7) A good friend showed me his backyard which has upwards of 100 acres of cleared skiable terrain with clifs and jumps, drops and rollers, which inspired me to make an Instagram page dedicated to my outdoors lifestyle. Which includes: skiing, white water rafting, kayaking, mountain biking, camping, hiking and more! Follow my Instagram page to keep up with more recent/smaller projects, and even possible pop-up events such as rail jams or ride-alongs. I'm always looking for people to join my adventures. - @Clifhucks_andtables If you care to Donate or help me on my pursuit of happiness, please do check out my GoFundMe page. It Comes From The Sea and Stays In The Trees

The Japanese Alps are a pretty special place, the combination of culture, snow and terrain is so unique it almost doesn't seem real. My friend Daniel and I booked plane tickets the moment we realized that our winter in Colorado wasn't going to materialize into much. We headed for the Japanese Alps, and more specifically a place called Myoko Kogen. It was so much better then we expected, and so much worse. After skiing some of the deepest snow of our entire lives, we got days of rain and terrifying avalanche conditions. There were wet slabs ripping to the ground through a 3 meter snowpack around every corner. Right before we left, Myoko got pounded by yet another insane storm, while the sky went blue and the snowpack stabilized out. We had an amazing time, and I hope you can enjoy our video as much as we enjoyed our trip!

Canadian Vacation: Fernie

At the end of last april we headed north, but with low expectations. The forecast was for rain at all elevations. We went anyways, determined to enjoy time in the mountains with friends. The snow gods must have felt our good intentions because they rewarded us not with rain, but with soft snow for the duration of our trip. Our short time at Fernie Wilderness Adventures was full of laughter, smiles and shenanigans. It turned out to be a week none of us will ever forget. So if you're ever on the fence about whether or not to ski, go ski. In our experience the universe rewards positivity and friendship.

First time out west. 2 weeks in CO. Late March - early April. This has a touch of everything (mostly staring at the tips of my skiis); ; Abay gaper day, sunny park laps, deep April pow, some small hikes, big bowls, and exploring all the bits of Colorado white in between. If you make it all the way through, thanks and I hope you enjoy, I fckin did!. Huge thanks to my peeps in Denver and the residents of Vasquez Lodge. Love you all and see you soon. 1 love

Sam Lee, comp run, Frontier FWQ New Zealand - yay for stunts

Here’s the pov of my run at the Frontier FWQ 2* in New Zealand this season. I wanted use this event as an opportunity to practice freestyle in competition, something I haven't really dabbled that heavily in until recently. I took a decent hip check on the cork 7, but I’m stoked to finally do one in a comp, as well as landing my first two 3’s and a frontflip! As far as a training comp, I am stoked on what I learned!
