Tristan Martin-Preney 16/17

When it comes to season edits people can get awfully critical about music choice, style, variety of tricks etc. and that includes me. But everyone's gotta remember that it's just skiing. Opinions and comments will be made and that's ok, you just can't take stuff too personally, at the end of the day we all love skiing and that's all that really matters. So to everyone out there who's thought about putting together an edit, either legit or on your cell-phone, do it! This is my self edit from 16/17 and ya there's a classic sketchy double for the ending shot. But for me it's my first one and there's a bit of a story to the jump: My buddy Taylor originally had the idea to check this gravel pit out for some creative skiing. There's a bunch of stuff you can do there but one mound of dirt just looked destined to be a jump. But when we tried it out we just couldn't get the speed. We decided to come back the following fall and see if we could move some dirt around to improve the jump and our speed issues. This cycle went on for the next 3 years and finally, this last winter it really started working. Both my friend Marley and I stomped doubles and showed the spot to a few other local riders. It was a good year for the gravel pit, little did we know it was the last year for our big jump. The gravel pit is actively used and big piles of waste concrete have been dumped right on the run in, so thats the end of that. And that's my jump story, thanks for reading! song: One More Tear to Cry - Mac DeMarco

Went out to get photos, had a GoPro on, made this mediocre edit. Also, there's an Eric Pollard cameo so I guess that's cool. IG: @jscawt

TGR - Rogue Elements - Official Trailer

by Newschoolers
Aug 2017 - 9.5K views

Since the dawn of time, everything that has lived and breathed on this planet has been subject to the whims of Mother Nature. The nature of an adventurer is inherently rogue; typically wild in character, subject to the fancy of their imagination. We are unequivocally drawn to nature’s rawest fury and deepest mysteries. These are the irreverent souls who pursue the edge. In the winter of 2017, the magnitude of winter's force was on full display. Telephone poll-snapping storms pounded the Wyoming landscape. Regions to the west, recently left arid and forgotten, were gifted with unprecedented accumulation. Blizzards in Europe buried towns in an instant before disappearing just as fast, leaving the lucky few who were there to wonder if it even happened. A Bolivian expedition found grace above 18,000 feet before the elements went rogue and the humans reluctantly heeded warnings from above. Join the TGR team as they embark on an adventure filled with fury and glory, and witness the unimaginable. Presented by REI. Link to more info on the film: https://www.tetongravity.com/films/ro... The boys pushed through just about every injury last year. Dislocated shoulder, lacerated spleen, blown out knees, a dislocated hip, and broken hands. But, despite all that we made the best out of it and got down to business. Get with it or get rolled over. Ian Hamilton - A Natural Progression

by Budh.ies
Mar 2018 - 1.7K views

After years of the Slopestyle circuit grind Ian had a gnarly crash at the World Tour Finals in Whistler that altered his perspective on skiing. He decided to take a different path and ski the way he wanted to ski instead of the way the judges expected him to. As the ski industry changes, becoming increasingly commercialized, digitized and popularized we can all benefit from reflecting on why we started skiing: To Have Fun. We hope this inspires you to get out and have a great time on your skis. Cheers.
