Here’s the pov of my run at the Frontier FWQ 2* in New Zealand this season. I wanted use this event as an opportunity to practice freestyle in competition, something I haven't really dabbled that heavily in until recently. I took a decent hip check on the cork 7, but I’m stoked to finally do one in a comp, as well as landing my first two 3’s and a frontflip! As far as a training comp, I am stoked on what I learned!
December 29th, word broke out of a winter storm nuking the east coast. In the hunt for powder, all responsibilities were ignored and an expedition for Jay Peak was made. After a little break due to my knee injury, the new Smelly Socks episode is actually, and also finally, happening! This time I decided to step out off my snowpark enviroment and visit the mecca of deep powder skiing - Japan. And ski my first real powder, on real pow skis with some of my real best friends like Antti Ollila - also first time pow, Zuzicka Stromkova and Martin Bernard behind the lens ofcourse.
