In February we got out to shoot a little more. Had some good alpine days followed by a hell of a day in the trees. Jacob starts to get jiggy again on his skis for the first time this season, Peter cleans up the Rutherford, and Conor shows that he is a wood-elf because the trees are HIS.

How To Screamin' & Grab Variations

by SkiAddiction
Mar 2018 - 2.2K views

This tutorial right here is exactly what the Tramp Skis are for, learning the scariest tricks in a safe environment. A Screamin' Semen is arguably one of the scariest tricks in skiing because it's when your skis cross over one another so they are on the opposite side they should be, then untangling them to land normally. This trick pretty much goes against everything we're taught in skiing, but damm is it cool. Learn it now with this tutorial. That's another season all wrapped up. Learnt a couple new ones, went to some comps and only fractured one thumb. All in all a pretty great season. Too much skiing, not enough filming and editing, but here it is, a little recap. Thanks to Smith and Faction for the support. Carinthia left the rails in a pretty strategic way so people wouldn’t hit them....challenge accepted. With shovels and some questionable rail wedging we made it happen. How To Bio 540 On Skis

by SkiAddiction
Jun 2018 - 2.2K views

https://skiaddiction.com/ It’s common to confuse a Bio 540 with a Misty 540. The difference between them is that one is an off-axis trick while the other is non-inverted spin. In a Bio 5, your head and shoulders are above your hips at all time, whereas in a Misty 5 they are perfectly aligned at horizontal. That's just the first tip in this How To Bio 540 tutorial. Keep reading for the full progression to learn this trick on the tramp with Tramp Skis, so you can confidently take it to the mountain! Song - Iron Maiden - Fear of the Dark - A compilation of my favourite shots from the last season. My approach to editing is heavily influenced by skate videos. I used (almost) no slow motion or filler and no go pro footage. No Bullshit. Big thanks to everyone who filmed and helped me dig my sled out. Thanks to Iron Maiden for your music not only in the context of this edit, but also for giving me focus on skis all winter. Thanks to TMC, Lange and Faction for keeping me rolling. Thanks to Mom and Dad and K for unwavering support. See you on the hill. insta: @jacob_boyd http://underwhiteskies.ca

YLESKI 2015

by Saga.
Sep 2015 - 2K views

YLESKI 2015 is the culmination of Wiley Miller?s 2015 winter season. Shot almost exclusively in the Columbia Mountains of interior British Columbia. The winter of 2015 was adverse in many areas of North America. Finding good conditions remained challenging. Patience, and persistence was key in finding safe, suitable snowpack. This is the second installment to the YLESKI series, highlighting the best of Wiley Miller and his approach to snow. ?I set out this winter to spend my time exploring new mountains, scouting lines, and finding natural airs in the terrain to work with. This season ski touring, route finding, and line selection were set in priority above building jumps and locating step-downs. It was an alternative I decided to take when the snow started to fly in November of 2014. I set out to do more skiing and less building, setting up-tracks versus cutting blocks for jumps. The sport becomes so dynamic when you?re working with larger terrain. It?s challenging, I love the experience, and constant education that takes place out there in the mountains.?
