Lets take it back to the winter of 2004 .. a decade ago Andy Parry was a troubled youth who hadn't quite honed his wizard skills but still through down.
The mid-atlantic region had a storybook winter this past season. The first major storm rolled through just before Christmas and Shea Flynn, Will Wesson and Andy Parry braved the blizzard all the way down to Virginia. Arriving in Lynchburg after a 15 hr. drive, the crew got to work digging out urban features around abandoned insane asylums and Evangelical Christian universities. Over the course of 3 days the Meatheads evaded appalachia law enforcement long enough to capture some one-of-a-kind footage and still make it home for the holidays...

Andrew's Team Page: http://lineskis.com/team/andrew-whiteford Last March a group of us from Jackson converged with friends from Colorado and headed north to the Fairy Meadow (aka Bill Putnam) Hut, located in the Adamant Mountains, British Columbia. A heli ride in and out allows for ample food and libations to be brought in to fuel skiers and snowboarders in exploring the incredible terrain. We were lucky to experience both deep and stable snow in addition to good weather. I brought some awesome gear and because of that never ran into any mechanical issues during the week. This past season he skied more than he ever had and it landed him in Teton Gravity Research's movie, The Dream Factory in the Haines segment for skiing lines only the worlds top pros have skied. What his highlights as he rides every powdery surface he can find on his Influence 115s, Mr. Pollard's Opus and Sir Francis Bacon skis. All the footage I gathered from the second half of my season all chopped up! includes some stellar shots from the 4hr. Heli ride I got for free from SEABA straight thru the Chugach. Also a bunch of skiing in Alaska, BC, and at Smith optics sled skiing zone, Prospecting Idaho. Might be a lil long, but the song went that long, so whatever! - Colter

Meathead athlete, Shea Flynn, grew up skiing the mean streets and icy hills surrounding his twin cities home of Lewiston/Auburn, Maine. When this blue-collar region got socked with the Nor'easter storm seen in Episode #2, Shea scoured the town wrote a list of all the features he's been gunning to hit on film for years. Over the course of 7 frigid days and nights, Shea, Dan Marion, and Cedric TF chucked themselves off every sketchy structure they could find. Shea's brother, Devin and hometown buddy, Joe Gardner, joined in on a session at the epic Flynn family backyard terrain park.

Its only March and we're finally skiing some legit pow! my favorite days have always been the stormy ones where it keeps getting deeper and no one is there but your buddies. Its good for my soul and its what winter means to me, and it almost always happens on Wildcat chair in Alta, UT. I/we hadn't gotten it this year till early march, and it was sick! my plans to move on immediately after the storm were changed when i got a last minute shoe into the Salt lake shoot out. things went well, I made some friends, had some great vibes and team dynamics, and we ended up with the gold to compliment our great images by "the legendary" Steve Lloyd. :) fun stuff. - Colter

No cost, no crowds and no lifts make backcountry exploration in the White Mountains of New Hampshire both fun and ridiculously tiring. What they lack in elevation (compared to west coast), the presidential range more than makes up for in bad weather, steeps, and avalanche conditions. This past winter the Meatheads were there to take full advantage of the micro weather windows that allow for good skiing. Stacey Rachdorf, Ben Leoni, Ryan McDermott, and Jay Bowen made several missions to Mt. Washington and surrounding peaks score rare, above tree line turns.

The trip started of good with stable snowpack and powder to the knees, but typically it got warm on the second day. It was still a lot of fun though, and even if the snow got pretty bad we still went out to ski. You just had to get a bit more creative and step down from the bigger terrain, everything was was a lot different from Norway so it didn´t matter that much to me. And I really like jibs such as the little natural quarterpipe almost as much as skiing powder anyways. You don´t have to look for just cliffs, lines or building jumps when you´re looking for natural terrain. This was my first trip overseas and I must say I liked it a lot! Definitely going back!"
