Just realized I never loaded this up on ol' Newschoolers. It's from last year... Was supposed to be a bit of a tease for a new project that is still currently in the works. HD version if you watch it over on Vimeo.
After a two year sabbatical from filming with Matchstick Productions, last season Hoji reunited with the team for what would turn out to be one of his most enjoyable…
Indescribable. Just pure. Raw. No control. Snow-blading. On hand painted blades.
The only way to celebrate another run of bouncing down the early season snowpack is to just let it out.
After years of development, we?re happy to offer the Magnum Opus for the 2015 winter season. Since 2010, skier & artist Eric Pollard has tested countless iterations to craft what is now known as the Magnum Opus, the best and lightest powder ski.
This episode follows Montana locals getting out and exploring the vast wilderness that is just outside our back door. Montana has so much terrain, and so few people to get out and ski it, so the choices are endless if you are willing to put on those skins and break a sweat. Hiking into a zone is a completely different experience then you would get from riding a chairlift and the satisfaction after working hard to get up something and then being rewarded by fresh, untouched turns down is a feeling unmatched. This is a story about real people earning their turns and enjoying every minute of it. There is a reason Japan can be considered Mecca to us skiers. Check out the pilgrimage from Luke Tanaka's standpoint. Be sure to keep an eye out for the ON3P x 4bi9 Japan edit featuring Crazy Karl John Ware, and Luke Tanaka dropping soon. For now, enjoy a little Pow Pr0n courtesy of Japanese Dad.
Elena Pressprich and Taylor Bacci head out into the backcountry in Central Oregon over Feb 28 & March 1st 2015 weekend. Pow, smiles, laughs, dancin' were all had and enjoyed!
All my favorite shots from utah's unreal 18-19 winter so far, not including park stuff (that'll come after my trip to mt hood). This was my 10th season skiing the wasatch mountains and it was by far my favorite. Dropped out of school, built more jumps, toured up more peaks, and overall had more powder filled smiles this season than I ever have. There's still a little bit of skiing left to be had, but I wanted to make an edit of what I've done so far. Thanks for filming Stephen Pille, Dixon Lewis, Jeff Stevens, Jason Child and anyone I may have forgotten, you guys rock like a narrow canoe.

I've been shredding off of the Peruvian chair a lot lately, so I thought it would be fun to strap on the GoPro for a run. Here is a non-stop top to bottom run through Peruvian Gulch with a bunch of fun natural hits along the way. Thanks to MtnRanks, Jans.com, and Smith Optics

Rogers Pass, BC was all time last weekend. Touring the Pass is insane. Smashing pillows and skiing dream pow with the homies while waiting for meniscus surgery. What more can you ask for?
Filmed at Snowbird and Bridger Bowl! So many good times!
