Nice Discovery On the last day of the season, Would love to repeat this line again sometime. Flight made possible by the EPIC 8m Rapido by Ozone... Next level wing :-) Cheers to Buzz, Sean & Michael for an epic little mission and nice hot feed on top before the flight!
Ran out of time to film, but was able to grab some shots and throw em together
Blog post: ow.ly/10sQ4c Awesome day for Kyler Tritter and his brother Brayden in sunny Utah. After winning the K2 x Powderbird Spring Break Heli Giveaway last week with his badass POV video, we flew the boys out and treated them to a day in the heli with none other than Pep Fujas. Conditions were all time?bluebird sky, fresh pow and the mountains to ourselves. What resulted was lots of adrenaline, high fives, pow slashes and good times. The past four days have been perhaps the best four of my life. It's been an up and down past month or so here at Jackson Hole and things finally started to turn around last week. On Saturday, co-worker Brian Wulf and I took three flawlessly smooth laps through Four Pines. On Sunday it dumped 24" in a 12 hour period and I met up with Don Watkins and Julie Weinberger for some deep pillow lines through Four Pines and Saratoga Bowl. Yesterday, Headwall, Casper Bowl and The Crags opened, changing my life forever and there's no end in sight. Below are videos from yesterday and from Monday. Enjoy! This year I got to ski the most I ever have and had by far my most fun. I thank everyone who made it happen and I hope for many more powder turns!

Like a scene out of the movie Groundhog Day, day three of Red Bull Cold Rush dawned just like the previous two: sunny and blue in the quaint, quiet, and historic Silverton, Colorado. The competition field of 15 men and 6 women ferried out via helicopter to the final venue of this year's Red Bull Cold Rush: the "Cliffs" portion of the competition. Set in "Zone 7" at Silverton Mountain, the venue was comprised of four distinct cliff areas for competitors to choose from. Each skier had two runs and the starting order was reversed for the second run to be sure everyone had a fair chance at a fresh landing.
Skiing in the 3rd gully, the big couloir, secret, the south wall, rice bowl, and buffalo jump.
Last year was one of the best seasons I've ever had. Started off with deep snow at Skibowl, making lines possible that aren't skiable most years. Midway through, we got an unusually big storm in Portland. Finished off with some classic spring sidecountry jumping at T-line. Thanks to everyone that skied, filmed, and made last year awesome. Every season is great, but I'll remember this one for a long time.
rippin around Kicking Horse before the first FWT event of the season!
No.5 gully on Ben Nevis, Scotland on the 28th. Was alright I guess...
Teaser for my edit to win a trip to Chile, if you like the video, vote for me by hearting it at http://goo.gl/OR0dOk
Off the plane from New Zealand and straight into some seriously epic pow riding in Verbier. My first week in Europe was damn fine. It looks like we caught the unicorn though, seems like most of Europe is struggling, Champoluc in Italy where I am now based is certainly bare. Fingers crossed for more of this in the coming weeks!
Episode IV: Low Tide: The Sweetgrass family lands in Las Lenas, Argentina, for several weeks of fending off women, beef, and various strains of the common cold in hopes of actually making some turns on snow."On The Road with Solitaire" is a 12-part webisode series following Sweetgrass Productions in the making of their new 2-year project, the South American ski and snowboarding film "Solitaire." New episodes will be released on the third week of every month.
It was cold and windy, so we booked it to the lodge.
It's been quite the season with the boys at King Eddy's. Enjoy this not-so-little compilation of our year in the Great White North. Fuck yeah bud.
Will Hutchinson shredding around Mt. Baker.
Exactly one year ago we flew to Japan to chase the famous powder storms of Hokkaido. By car we travelled about 3 weeks through the Island and discovered many cool places, met great people and had an unforgettable time!
