Jackson Hole Goes Blower February 21, 2011 - The Teton Sessions Episode 5

Mar 2011 - 1.5K views

The past four days have been perhaps the best four of my life. It's been an up and down past month or so here at Jackson Hole and things finally started to turn around last week. On Saturday, co-worker Brian Wulf and I took three flawlessly smooth laps through Four Pines. On Sunday it dumped 24" in a 12 hour period and I met up with Don Watkins and Julie Weinberger for some deep pillow lines through Four Pines and Saratoga Bowl. Yesterday, Headwall, Casper Bowl and The Crags opened, changing my life forever and there's no end in sight. Below are videos from yesterday and from Monday. Enjoy!

The Calm Before The Storm - The Teton Sessions Episode 3 - Point Of Release

They allude to it in the final sentence below, but this is my rebuttal to Unofficial Jackson's complaints about today's conditions. Oh, and the mother nature will have added 5-10" by tomorrow when you watch this. "The inbounds skiing on Jackson is still recovering. The upper elevations north facing shots still have a chalky softer base for this new snow to sit upon. But, most of the mountain still needs more snow to cover up this hard base left from the warm week. If you are willing to do some walking or skinning, there is still some great snow." Lets Go Get Small

'Let´s Go Get Small' features freeskier Dave Treadway as he, together with Henrik Windstedt, venture way out into the Canadian coast range on snowmobiles. Their mission? To explore. To simply see what's on the other side of the next mountain. To see what's possible on skis. Watch them push limits in order to explore the unexplored, all while feeling really small in the vast territory that surrounds them. Shot on location at Pemberton backcountry, Bridge glacier, Steller Heli skiing, Selkirk Wilderness Skiing and Monashee Powder Snowcats

This is my 2010 selfedit, all images are to be found in the PBP 2010 movie Revolver. I made this edit on a special music by Poni Hoax the song is called "the paper bride". All helmet cam are shot on GoPro. Most of the images are shoot in Haines, Alaska and the jumps in Vars, France. This is one of my best year riding and I'm happy the way the images came out, thanks to Tyler Hamlet, JP Auclair, Elina Sirparanta and everyone that help producing this. We put a lot of energy trying to make you want ski, when I watch this it make me want to go get cold in deep powder I hope you feel the same way. Enjoy and share. Julien
