Room For Improvement documents the 2017 winter in the Sierra with 3 webisodes exploring different locations in northern California. With record-setting storms and a monster snowpack, the Janky crew skied deep powder, big lines and enormous jumps into July.

I was lucky enough to travel to Hakuba, Japan this last winter for 5 weeks of glorious pow skiing. Lots of pow in Washington and some volcano action mixed in to top off one incredible season. Huge thanks to everyone that helped me out and made it all possible!
Pretty cruisy up there on the Stanton Glacier. Feels good to wrap up another summer of skiing questionable antique snow. Ready for Rocktober pow to make it 48 months straight of noodling around in the hills.
I've been wanting to put together my own edits for a while now but never had the right camera or computer. This year I was able to buy a semi-decent camera and a computer that I could edit on. So here is my first try at editing. I know its not the best production quality but oh well still had fun putting it together. Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching.
After 2000m of climbing we got to drop into this beauty. Got a little tight near the bottom.
Only really used the gopro 4 times this past season for various reasons including going to school, missing a couple ligaments in my knee, and not getting too much snow. Feeling the ski itch now though so i threw this lil guy together.
Didn't get to film much this season, here's a little edit of clips i managed to put together. Enjoy! https://www.facebook.com/dylanfreeskier
We have no snow yet in MA, so we're dealing with what we got.
First days of skiing lifts this year, got lucky with some pow at revelstoke! Threw together the gopro shots from the 3 days in a little huck heavy edit! Trace Cooke in orange, me in blue. Thanks to 4Frnt skis and Village ski hut!!!
Exactly one year ago we flew to Japan to chase the famous powder storms of Hokkaido. By car we travelled about 3 weeks through the Island and discovered many cool places, met great people and had an unforgettable time!
This winter was my first season out of high school so I decided to move to Revelstoke with three of my friends. It turned out to be the best season of my life, we got tons of snow and skied almost every day. Thanks to Monod Sports in Banff and Smith Optics for all the support throughout the season. Red Mountain has a lot of fun terrain. This is just some of the goods that's under the lift alone.
