Core Camps spent an epic powder day with Powder Mountain Cat Skiing in Whistler. 70 cms of fresh snow, a great crew of campers with powder eating smiles, cool guides, a food stocked snow cat, miles away from anyone, lots of sick runs through the trees and deep, hero style powder. And this days included in camp if youre here for a while. Awesome!
This week's episode of Almost Live joins Dash Longe and Dylan Hood in Macedonia as they lay down first descents with the help of a Macedonian police helicopter. As Dash describes, "It turned out to be two police officers flying us around in a police bird...pretty rad." One For The Road Almost Live is a web series that follows the TGR production team and athletes around the globe as they shoot their 2011 ski film, One For The Road. It provides insight into the lives of the world's top riders as we take an inside look at what goes into first descents, building and hitting massive backcountry jumps and traveling throughout the most exotic locales on the planet. "Almost Live" plants you on location with our crew in the middle of the action. Stay tuned throughout the season and watch the drama unfold. I just got back from five of the best months of my life in Alaska working for Points North Helicopters. But no matter where I am in the world, it seems I'm always dreaming of home. Towards the end of my season in AK I was truly desperate for some summer sun, and coming back to Tahoe I was greeted with radiant temps, clear skies, and even a bunch of snow on the ground! Myself, Bennett Carlson, Ryan Fitzhenry, Gavin Lura, and his buddy Mike did our best to take advantage of all the beauty and get out into it. Stoked!
Watch in HD and let me know what you think. Thanks

Going left // aiguille du midi // chamonix 16//05//2011 //This video is not intended to be watch at once, you can if you want but don’t feel bad to scrub trough it and stop where ever your hart tells you to. Skiing the Mallory was not even a question a year ago when I first went up the Aiguille du Midi, and I got into climbing and more into steep skiing and for my second time up there I though it was a good idea to go left and drop in one of the classic steep skiing face of Chamonix. //Bruno Compagnet is one of the ledgend of french freeriding scene, Camille Jaccoux is an all time friends and I hadn’t ski with him for years and with fanfan a young Chamonix guide it made just a perfect team. Bruno said it’s an adventure, it’s like a journey in another world. It’s a long decent and you have to stay focus the all time there is not a lot of margin for error. I always wonder how to share these kind of experience with people, it’s not an easy task that’s why I wanted to give you pretty much the all thing a let you choose your favorite part, but the lengh is reflecting the spirit of this adventure. //I’m glad I could finally use some Sonic Youth for a skiing edit : part 1 of Sonic Youth SYR 6: Koncertas Stan Brakhage Prisiminimui (with Tim Barnes). Julien Regnier.
Core Ski Camps goes backcountry - Clear skies, fresh powder, nobody around, a cozy cabin, good food and seven cool skiers made this backcountry ski trip a pretty freakin' good time. Enjoy.
One of the best runs of the season in December 2010. Blue bird at the top, snowing in the woods. Broke my collarbone two weeks before, but it was a great run though. Pls comment and rate...
