First day using the GoPro Hero HD and second day skiing of the season. Conditions were less than optimal with 50km winds, blowing snow, and low visibility. For future shots I am going to angle the camera forward as I found it to shoot a little too high where I mounted it. Once I am happy with the shots I am going to start a POV video blog, so look out for that.
I'm asking for some support in my bid for the Powder Magazine reader poll! Head over to http://www.powdermag.com/events/powder-poll-2010/ and cast your vote!
As I sit at home with a bum leg I decided to start putting out a webisode series. So I sent my good friend Sam Cohen off with the new HD GoPro and told him to get some cool shots. I'm going to create a new episode at least every other week. My goal is to capture what it is like to be a local skier up Little Cottonwood Canyon and what our view of skiing is. Enjoy!
In this episode of On the Couch, Josh Nielsen and Ian McIntosh discuss Ian's consistent 4-point stomps, where and when he uses rockered skis, and his current influences as well as future plans.
