On the eve of a monster storm Ian was forced to depart Whistler to get his knee examined, fearing a blown ligament. The rest of the boys plundered the abundant snow that fell in the next weeks, jumping off everything they could find and even getting some park laps in between pow days. Kin of the Mountain is a 2 day ski and snowboard event that combines Freeride with Freestyle. Featuring a hand built freeride course on day 1 with jumps, hips and trannys, and day 2 with a custom slopestyle course. King of the Mountain aims to find out who truly is the most well rounded rider.

After missing a 200+ inch February, I managed to hit spring break just right with blue skies and all time conditions the whole week. Another edit shot almost all with IPhone and Gopro. Thanks to everybody who filmed, showed me new areas, and overall made this break one of the best yet! Also big thanks to Line, Full Tilt, Stio, Smith, Momentous, Backcountry Zero, and Noso. Now back to school at UVM to finish up the semester before heading back out west.
2 laps deep in the Rattlesnake Wilderness Area on old Mosquito Peak. The 2nd chute was a new one for me and the choke point did not fill in that great this year obv. Always sketch guinea pigging a line that no one has skied all year. Big line season is upon us. Jazzed for more marathon days in ze mountains.
