Found some footage recorded from my GoPro hero 3 black. So I whipped up a lil edit, nothing special. Sorry for bad quality, my computer is pretty bad and it diminishes the quality a lot. :(
Heres our first Edit from the PuderCrew! For HD go to vimeo! Have a look on our new site: https://www.facebook.com/pudercrew
Had a super fun year, even with the lack of snowfall. Hope you all enjoy!
First days of shooting! Core Shot Productions is a young crew of mountain enthusiasts, skiers and filmmakers from all over Europe. We share the common dream of producing a ski movie in the upcoming winter season. But filming already started at the end of the past season. This is a short teaser.
It seems that every ski season builds upon the last and this past winter was no exception. By deciding to take a year off from the competition scene, I was able to focus my effort toward what I love most, filmmaking. Here is a collection of shots over the 14/15 season where I was on the other side of the lens. Good vibes only.
This winter was sick. Despite the troubling snow conditions around BC I managed to get out into the backcountry and ski some amazing snow with amazing friends. Check out what I got up to this year around Revelstoke, Rogers pass, and my home Bragg Creek. Huge thanks to the guys at Liberty Skis, Fresh Air Kelowna, and the Goon Squad! libertyskis.com/ freshair.bc.ca/ facebook.com/O.G.GoonSquad
With some of Norway's best freeskiers we went for a week in July to shred in the mountains of Røldal, Norway.
On September 29th 2014, I lost my two best friends JP Auclair and Andreas Fransson in an avalanche on Monte San Lorenzo near the border of Chile and Argentina. It has now been one year since the accident. I created a film to celebrate and remember our lovely friends. This film is from our last years together where we skied, worked and had amazing adventures together. We went to Chamonix, Norway and Chile. Andreas, JP, Daniel Rönnbäck and I started a project together called, Apogée, which means ? The highest point in the developing of something. The project was Andreas and JP?s idea, travel to magnificent destinations and create beautiful, touching ski movies to inspire others around the world. some clips from the 2014/2015 season! Thanks to Quest University Canada.
Mainly GoPro clips from last season, was stoked to have gotten to shred in such cool places!!
A massive snowstorm consumes Hokkaido, crushing everything under wind and snow with unrelenting force. Three wanderers push forward through the blindness of this elemental world, all the weight of winter pressing down upon them.
Despite low snow conditions around the Western US, I had a great season traveling to 2- and 4-star Freeride World Qualifier events, freeskiing at my home resorts of Alta and Crested Butte and touring in the Wasatch, Uintas and Crested Butte backcountry!
Less than average snow fall accompanied by a season long spine injury made the 14/15 season an interesting one for me. Despite it all, we still found what we were looking for.
For the fourth year in a row Tahoe had sub par snow totals. The 14/15 season was my fifth year skiing and it was the first year that I felt like I was decent enough to make an edit. Despite the low snow I progressed further than I ever imagined I would. I pushed myself to hit big mountain features that put me out of my comfort zone and I survived them all. I had a great year and would like to give a big shout out to everyone who helped make it possible. Hope you like the edit.
POV shots from this past season skiing around Whistler and Blackcomb.
It snowed a very little bit up in the high country, but of course we had to investigate. The way up looked pretty bleak. Then we found where the wind had blown all the snow off the top of the mountain and created a little snow oasis. It wasn't much but it was enough to make me feel happy again.
It is only the first day of class here at UBC but we are already stoked to be skiing again! Check out one of our own in some POV goodness from last season. IG: pwentzy
After a small storm in April last year, I learned a lesson in sluff management that nearly rocked me. Im not trying to glorify avalanches, but if I post the good I should post the bad.
