With such an unpredictable winter the deep days came out of nowhere. This edit throws it back to the beginning of February when we were pleasantly surprised by one of the the deepest days of my life. Not the insanity of how long and deep the run is from 1:10 - 1:50
Great powder and visibility in Montafon this morning, and stability felt good pretty much everywhere, but I released a little pocket of wind slab on our last run down a fairly steep (maybe 40° at the rollover, though the GoPro doesn't show it) NW slope. It was my first time on this slope so I took it pretty easy on the top bit, but it opens up pretty quickly so you can actually really let loose...
