Last fall I moved from Wisconsin to Colorado, then in February I made a trip home without telling anyone except for Conner, and my younger brother. So I got to surprise my friends and family, do some good ol' Wisconsin skiing and hang out! I never ended up editing until recently for the NSTV contest, which is why it's Episode zero....look out for Episdoe 1 in the next month or so!
So this kid decided to do a backflip off the side of this tiny jump and luckily i had the camera ready

And boy Jolly is it a bad one :( I was actually hoping to film a few days this season and make a solid edit but my friends lost my camera so we only ended up with one day of BAD footage from Eldora. Over winter break 2 years ago, Tyler Otis and I went to hit this rail on CU's campus. As we were setting it up this sketchy steam started shooting out the side of the building. As SOON as we were done setting up the rail (no joke, we had just gotten our skis to hit it), the fire alarm goes off. It was very loud. We decided we probably shouldn't hit the rail while this alarm is going off so we carried our stuff up the sidewalk a little bit to wait it out. In the 30-60 minutes we probably stood around waiting, a couple fire trucks showed up, and then left, as well as a few cop cars. One of the cops stopped to talk to us and was cool with us hitting the rail (and I'm pretty sure said something about how he had hit it back when he was in school). Anywho, we both slid the rail and got it on film, but wasn't ever cool enough to do anything with. It was a pretty weird experience though so I figure the story is worth a share. Damn i tried uploading to NS 3 times and it didnt work, so i had to embed it well this was on May 16th and it was pretty fun
We just moved out to Colorado from Wisconsin in November and finally got around to filming an edit!! we filmed this in an afternoon at keystone, so there will be MOAR bangers and MOAR jumps in our edits to come (hopefully)
We FINALLY got some good enough footage to make an edit and sorry about the mixed qualities, and the SUPER shitty quality shot at the beginning....my bad this was filmed Feb. 5th and 7th, with a little shitty sony handycam and a canon GL2
So at like 8:30pm pretty much after the sun had set we decided to session. Resembling cheetahs we set everything up and banged out a couple tricks in 30 minutes.
So the park manager tried to make a flat-down-down-er, which he called the "sinking battleship" it was kinda just a really mellow battleship but whatever it was fun, and we got some okay shots.....enjoy
Yeah we kill the park, but we shred pipe too....
We decided to travel to Summit boardshop in Minnesota to hit their summer set up! There was supposed to be a tow rope, which was kind of the reason we went, but it was fun nonetheless. During our adventure we got to shoot a cannon, play with ninja weapons and drink a lot of mountain fury!
Crisp summer day in 2009. This was one of my favorite shots of the summer, and I had an adobe AE trial at the time so I ramped it up. Newschoolers OG BcL is heard giving "props" at the end..
Brent and I both had Christmas day off so we went to keystone in the morning, then rushed over to the Silverthorne sk8park before the sun went down for some gypsy trix in the snow. Filmed entirely on christmas day!
This was April 17th and I just forgot to post it to NS but it was my first day filming with my new camera and i exported it wrong which explains why it's like squished....my bad guyz
